"Not really worth it"
so... I wanted to like this place, but it just wasn’t great. The coffee tasted kind of burnt, and the pie I got was dry and somehow still cold in the middle. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but for what it cost, I expected a lot better. I don’t think I’d be in a hurry to go back.

"Pretty much the customer service I expected"
I had to get in touch with Gail’s about an order, the reply took a bit longer than I was hoping. I already had a feeling it might be a bit slow, so when it took a while, it kind of confirmed that for me. To be fair, they did answer my questions in the end and they were polite, but at first it didn’t feel especially helpful. Not terrible or anything, just very average. I’d probably use them again, but only if I wasn’t in a hurry

"Good range but not quite everything"
I had a decent look around on gails.co.nz and yeah, it was mostly good. Found most of the bits I needed without having to click around too silly much, which was nice. A couple of things I was wanting weren’t in stock though, so that was a bit annoying. Still good overall, just not fully there for me, so 4 stars.

"Save your money unless the prices drop"
I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re expecting good value. The food was fine, but nothing really stood out, and the portions felt small for what they’re charging. I left feeling like I paid way more than the meal was worth. Just a heads up for anyone thinking about going — check the prices first, because I probably wouldn’t go back unless they make it more reasonable

"Relaxing spot, but I felt a little rushed"
The place had a really nice atmosphere and felt calm overall, which I appreciated. It was clean, comfy, and not too crowded, so it was easy to sit back and relax for a bit. The only thing was I felt a little pressured to hurry up at times, and it got a bit noisy outside. Still, I’d probably go again.
